Caring for your item
Each piece is crafted with love and care, using high-quality, non-toxic clay and glazes to ensure it’s microwave, dishwasher, and food-safe. To help your item last for years to come.
Handwashing is Recommended
While your piece is dishwasher-safe, I recommend hand washing with a gentle sponge and mild soap. This preserves the integrity and beauty of your handmade item, especially since its delicate nature makes it more fragile than mass-produced ceramics.
Your ceramic item is safe for use in the microwave
However, avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., going from cold to hot) to prevent thermal shock, which can weaken the piece over time.
Unglazed Bottom Care
The bottom of your piece is intentionally left unglazed to highlight its handmade nature and for kiln firing purposes
On white ceramic pieces, unglazed areas may show spots or stains with regular use. Washing your piece promptly after each use will help minimize staining.
If stains do occur, they can often be lightened by gently scrubbing with a baking soda paste or soaking the area in a mild solution of vinegar and water.
Your ceramic item is not just functional—it’s a piece of art. With proper care, it will bring joy and beauty to your daily rituals for years to come. Thank you for cherishing this handmade item and welcoming a little piece of my creativity into your home.
