Birch Matcha Set
Part of my Birch Collection, this handmade ceramic matcha bowl was inspired by the soft, natural beauty of birch trees. It features a satin matte ivory glaze with deep brown-black speckles—earthy, rustic, minimalist, and full of wabi-sabi charm.
Each bowl is pinch-built entirely by hand, slowly shaped and refined without molds or a wheel. This method allows for gentle variations in form and thickness, giving every piece its own quiet character. No two bowls are exactly the same, and that’s very much the point.
Sized to comfortably hold my standard 10–12 oz matcha, the softly rounded walls and subtle pour spout make whisking and pouring feel natural and intuitive—meant to support a calm, intentional ritual.
Food safe, microwave safe, dishwasher safe
Handwashing is recommended to preserve the glaze
Bottom left raw/unsealed (white clay will naturally stain over time)
Please note: whisk and any accessories pictures are not included.
Handmade Process & Ordering
Each item is slab-built or hand-formed, I do not use a wheel for my ceramics. Each item is also hand-glazed, so every piece will have a natural handmade look.
Each item moves through a natural process that includes making, drying time, multiple kiln firings, and then careful packing before shipping.
My current processing time is 4–7 weeks to allow each piece the time it needs to be made properly and thoughtfully. Nothing is rushed, and I work in small-batch cycles as a one-person studio.
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase please email me if you need to cancel: hello@ditsypottery.com
