Morning in the Garden Mugs
The Garden Collection begins with a morning..
Inspired by sunlit gardens, old-fashioned romance, daydreaming, and the feeling of wandering somewhere beautiful with nowhere else to be, Morning in the Garden is the first chapter in this collection..my ode to finding romance in the ordinary.
Think The Secret Garden meets A Room with a View: wildflowers in the morning light, quiet moments with a cup of coffee or tea, and that feeling of slipping away into a little world of your own.
Each mug is entirely handmade in my studio, painted and glazed by hand, so no two will ever be exactly alike.
Mug One | Studio Mug
My classic Studio Mug shape, slab built by hand with a slightly more structured silhouette. This version features slightly smaller hand-painted flowers and its own unique handle shape.
Mug Two | Free-Form Pinch Mug
Fully free formed using the pinch method, giving this mug a more organic, naturally imperfect shape and a slightly heavier feel in the hand. The flowers are a little larger on this version, and the handle is shaped differently as well.
Both forms hold approximately 10–12 oz.
Please Expect Variation
These are handmade ceramics, and variation is part of what makes each piece special.
No two mugs will be identical. You may notice differences in the shape, flowers, brushwork, handle, glaze movement, color, speckling, or other small details.
The glazes are all the same glazes used across the collection, but every piece is glazed by hand and never placed in the kiln in exactly the same way. The kiln also has a mind of its own, so glaze colors can melt, move, pool, and develop slightly differently from one firing to the next.
Please purchase these with the understanding that the mug you receive will have its own individual character. The variations are not imperfections, they are the whole point of handmade pottery and a big part of what makes each Ditsy piece one of a kind.
Handmade Process & Ordering
Each item is slab-built or hand-formed, I do not use a wheel for my ceramics. Each item is also hand-glazed, so every piece will have a natural handmade look.
Each item moves through a natural process that includes making, drying time, multiple kiln firings, and then careful packing before shipping.
My current processing time is 4–6 weeks to allow each piece the time it needs to be made properly and thoughtfully. Nothing is rushed, and I work in small-batch cycles as a one-person studio.
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase please email me if you need to cancel.
