Mossglow Mug

$52.00

Handmade ceramic mugs inspired by the glow of sunlit moss and the quiet beauty of the forest and creeks warmed by the sun.

Each piece is handbuilt from white stoneware clay and finished in my Mossglow glaze—a layered surface of greens, browns, soft golds, and subtle blue breaks that shift in the light.

The glaze flows organically, creating natural variation in every piece. Every firing is different as well. No two are ever the same, just like the earth that inspired them.

Every glaze interacts with light a little differently. Some photos are taken outdoors in bright Florida sunshine, while others are photographed indoors in softer light. Because of this, colors and glaze effects may appear slightly different from photo to photo and in person.

Mugs hold approximately 8–10 oz, with slight variation due to their free-form, handbuilt nature.

Finished in a glossy surface with occasional matte brown breaks, reminiscent of moss, soil, sun-warmed ground and flowing creeks. Both microwave and dishwasher safe for everyday use.

A functional piece of art designed to bring a sense of nature, warmth, and intention into your daily ritual.

Handmade Process & Ordering

Each item is slab-built or hand-formed, I do not use a wheel for my ceramics. Each item is also hand-glazed, so every piece will have a natural handmade look.

Each item moves through a natural process that includes making, drying time, multiple kiln firings, and then careful packing before shipping.

My current processing time is 4–7 weeks to allow each piece the time it needs to be made properly and thoughtfully. Nothing is rushed, and I work in small-batch cycles as a one-person studio.

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase please email me if you need to cancel: hello@ditsypottery.com
