Tall & Tapered | Short & Wide Mugs
These mugs are made slowly and intentionally, just as they’re meant to be enjoyed.
Each one is hand-built using slab construction, then carefully dipped and fired in my studio made glaze. Because of this process, no two mugs are exactly the same. Small variations in shape, size, and glaze are part of what make each piece unique and full of character.
Fig (shown on a studio mug)- Inspired by freshly split figs in late summer: juicy pink centers, olive green skins, and soft cream flesh. Rich, organic, and impossible to duplicate.
Saltstone (shown on indent espresso cups) — An earthy mineral blue inspired by weathered stone and sea-washed surfaces. Soft and calming, with natural movement and subtle gloss breaks that catch the light like worn rock near water.
Oatmeal — Warm, cozy, and grounding. A creamy, speckled neutral that feels like linen, clay, and quiet mornings wrapped into one.
Mossglow (shown on tall & tapered & barrel mug)— Inspired by sunlit moss, forest trails, and quiet creeks, featuring layered greens, warm browns, soft golds, and subtle blue breaks that shift beautifully in the light.
These mugs are available in two shapes:
• Tall & tapered – an elegant, almost cone-like form
• Short & wide – cozy, grounded, and comforting in the hand
Both hold approximately 12 fl oz, though sizes may vary slightly since each mug is handmade.
They are microwave and dishwasher safe, making them perfect for everyday coffee, tea.
Handmade Process & Ordering
Each item is slab-built or hand-formed, I do not use a wheel for my ceramics. Each item is also hand-glazed, so every piece will have a natural handmade look.
Each item moves through a natural process that includes making, drying time, multiple kiln firings, and then careful packing before shipping.
My current processing time is 4–7 weeks to allow each piece the time it needs to be made properly and thoughtfully. Nothing is rushed, and I work in small-batch cycles as a one-person studio.
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase please email me if you need to cancel: hello@ditsypottery.com
